Student Ambassadors
A UA Cossatot Student Ambassador is a student who is chosen to be the face of UA Cossatot on campus and in the community. They are an active voice for the UA Cossatot student body. Through a joint effort with Student Services and other Student Ambassadors, they reach out to prospective students, sharing personal UA Cossatot experiences and successes. UA Cossatot Student Ambassadors are hard-working, honest, curious, adventurous, and have strong communication skills and high academic standards.
UAC Ambassador Responsibilities:
- Working a minimum of 100 hours per semester (approx. 6.25 hours per week)
- Attending monthly (or bi-monthly) Student Ambassador meetings and trainings
- Visiting high schools and attending college fairs
- Facilitating service projects
- Organizing and hosting student life activities
- Participating in new student orientation, registration, commencement, and other campus events
- Attending 1 faculty/staff meeting per year
- Carrying out all other duties as assigned
Credentials:
- Maintain a 2.75 GPA or higher
- Maintain attendance record of 90% or higher
- Complete 12 hours of coursework (after high school) before applying and be enrolled full time per semester (a minimum of 12 hours)
- Be in good-standing with UA Cossatot
