Industrial Maintenance
Degrees: Technical Certificates in Industrial Technology and Industrial Electricity
Courses are also available as Certificates of Proficiency and as a focus for the Associate
of Applied Science in General Technology degree.
Time to complete: While there is no specific timeline for completion, many courses are shared among degrees making multiple degree completion timely and affordable.
UA Cossatot Instructors: Randy Thompson, Sam Nutt, and Scott Surber (Secondary)
What: One-on-one instruction provided by qualified instructors with personal experience working in an industrial maintenance environment. Students will learn basic electricity, hydraulics and pneumatics, welding, industrial wiring, industrial motor controls, programmable logic controls (PLC), and more.
Where: Lockesburg Campus in modern facilities with the latest technology
When: Classes range from 3:30 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday - Thursday, with some available
online
High school Secondary Career Center classes are Monday - Thursday from 8:00 am to
3:00 pm and virtually on Friday.
Employment: Industrial maintenance jobs start at $50,000 a year* in local industries, such as Tyson, Weyerhauser, and Husquvarna
Internships: Enrolling in this program qualifies students to apply for internships with Tyson
Food in Nashville, AR; Grannis, AR; and Broken Bow, OK; and Weyerhaeuser in Dierks,
AR. Earn while you learn!

Cost: Approximately $2400 to $2700 per semester (tuition and fees may vary depending on residential status and semester of program ) Financial Aid and scholarships are available.
