The University of Arkansas Cossatot’s Center for Student Success held one of its two health fairs providing free flu shots on the De Queen campus on Thursday, October 18, 2018, for two hours with a total of 138 benefiting from such services.  

The next flu shot clinic is scheduled on Nashville UA Cossatot campus on Thursday, October 25, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.

The flu is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses that infect the nose, throat, and lungs. It can cause mild to severe illness, and at times can lead to death. The best way to prevent the flu is by getting a flu shot each year so please consider receiving one.
