UA Cossatot agriculture students attended the Arkansas FFA Alumni State Conference hosted at SAU in Magnolia on January 18-19, 2019.

Kinley Wright, Hadley Philamlee, and Cody Chandler heard from industry professionals and attended workshops on topics including how to speak positively about issues in agriculture and opportunities for collegiate FFA chapters. The workshops allowed students from UA Cossatot to network with other collegiate FFA members from across the state and engage in leadership development activities.

“I’m honored that I was able to represent UA Cossatot at the conference. It’s important for us to participate in these types of events so that we can gain new information to help grow and improve our collegiate FFA chapter,” said Kinley Wright.

 Kelli Harris, agriculture faculty at UA Cossatot, participated on the committee for the Arkansas Alumni in making recommendations for the upcoming year which were voted on during the business session
