The second annual Miss UA Cossatot Scholarship Pageant will be held at the historic UA Cossatot Bank of Lockesburg Gymnasium on Saturday, March 28, 2020, at 6:00 P.M. The winner of the pageant will be crowned Miss UA Cossatot 2020 by Perri Lowrey, and will also receive a full-tuition waiver while attending UA Cossatot. This is an opportunity for current and future UA Cossatot students to receive a scholarship, and also to promote their school and their community. 

To be a contestant in the pageant you must be a female student who has never been married, you must be seventeen to twenty-one years old, and have a GPA of 2.5 or above. To participate, you must also be a current student at UA Cossatot or an area high school senior who plans to enroll at UA Cossatot. The winner of the pageant will be expected to make appearances and be on UA Cossatot promotional material while being a student at UA Cossatot for at least two semesters after being crowned Miss UA Cossatot.

The UA Cossatot Student Ambassadors are coordinating the pageant, and Loren Hinton is set to host. Admission prices for the event are $5. UA Cossatot students and high school students can pay $3 to attend, and there is no fee for children twelve and under to attend.

UA Cossatot Student Ambassador, Jhamilex Hernandez, said, “This is our second Miss UA Cossatot pageant. I know the pageant will be a super fun night, but it will also be an opportunity for the winner to earn scholarship money.”
